Training Course Digital Inclusion of Youth:

The project activity is planned at: 20-26.08.2023  including travel days in Poland, Lębork

Target group: Youth trainers 21+ years old representing partner organizations from 7 countries. Group size 3 participants each country. 

 

 

Aim:

The aim of the project is to organize a one-week training course for youth workers with the objective of guiding young people towards a more conscious use of social media and the web through interactive and participatory activities. The project aims to address the following:

 

1. "The web and I": This part of the training focuses on exploring young people's individual digital identity and understanding the impact of new technologies in their lives.

 

2. "The web, the others and I": In this phase, the project aims to delve into the theme of relationships on the internet and the dynamics of online interactions.

 

The project utilizes non-formal education tools and methods, including lectures, circle time, video projection, role play, the use of apps, readings, quizzes, text and video analysis exercises, and the Innovative Digital Citizenship Program of the Project Zero research centre of the Harvard School of Education.

 

Through these activities, the project aims to equip youth workers with the necessary knowledge and skills to guide young people in navigating the digital world responsibly and critically. The ultimate goal is to promote a more informed and mindful use of social media and the web among young people, fostering digital citizenship and positive online relationships.
